Project PALBONG

Palbong Ceramics made and distributed traditional pottery in the 1st [the late Park Jun-seok] and 2nd [the late Park Bok-rae] generations.

Even before the Japanese colonial period, Park Chang-young thought that pottery was a great business handed down by his grandfather as a family business, and he began to carry on the tradition of making pottery. Since then, potter Park Chang-young, who has walked a single path for 40 years of making pottery, has passed on his family business to his son, and is now devoting the rest of his life to reproducing Baekje earthenware. Palbong Ceramics is currently being passed down by Park Gwang-cheol for the 4th generation.

Jo Seong-yeon has been engaged in the traditional belief industry for 40 years as a jihwajang that makes musical instruments and paper flower supallilies in Gut in Hwanghae-do.
